Howto Carry Out a Process
Whenit comes to cooking, individuals have different steps that theyfollow. This is not different when making a chocolate cake. Differentcooks will use different steps when making the cake. In thisassignment, I will present the steps that were suggested by a friendthat I would follow in making a chocolate cake.
Thefirst step that the friend suggested entails gathering all thenecessary ingredients that are required in making the chocolate cake.This would prepare everything that is required in making the cake.The required ingredients would be 3 eggs, ¾ cups margarine orbutter, ¾ unsweetened cocoa powder, 2 cups flour, 2 cups sugar, 1.5cup milk, 2 teaspoon vanilla, ¾ teaspoon baking powder, and 1teaspoon baking soda.
Thesecond step would entail mixing the ingredients that need to gotogether. First, mix cocoa powder, flour, baking soda and bakingpowder and set aside. Then, beat eggs, butter, and vanilla.
Thethird step would involve mixing the ingredients together while addingsugar until the desired amount is reached. Pour equal quantities ofbatter into greased and floured round cake pans. This step wouldensure that the ingredients are ready for the cake.
Thefourth step would involve baking the cake. In this step, the readyingredients are put inside an oven that has been set to theappropriate temperature of about 350 degrees. After putting thegreased and floured round cake pans in the oven, one should wait forabout 30 to 35 minutes. To see if it is done, one should check with atoothpick. If needed, one should bake for a few more minutes. It isafter this that the cakes are removed from the oven and allowed tocool.
Conclusion
Fromthe suggestion of the friend on how to make a chocolate cake, sheexpected me to question part of the process, but I did not. Forinstance, she expected me to ask whether the oven need to be put onfirst in order to gather the temperature of 350 degrees. This is whenI came to learn that it is important to do the things that oneexpects you to do when learning.
