Table1 shows us that we had a total number of 150 cases with an averagestress level of 1.7667(SD=0.69915).
Intable 2 the t value obtained of 13.430 with 149 degrees of freedomis significant at 0.000 level. The 95% CI is [0.66 0.88]
Aone sample t-test was run to determine whether the stress levels ofthe participants was different from a stress level of 1(low stresslevels).The average stress level(1.77+_0.05709) was higher than thelow stress levels(1).a statistically significant difference of0.77(95% CI,0.66 to 0.88,t(149)=13.430,P=0.022
Sincethe p-value 0.000 is less than 0.05 we therefore reject the nullhypothesis and conclude that the average stress levels is not lowamong the cases. We also reject the null hypothesis because the tcalculate of 13.430 is greater than critical t-value.
The95% CI is [0.66 0.88]
