“Planned Parenthood” follows the kind of service delivery which is known as “client-centered management and inverted hierarchy” service-delivery system (Chambers et. al. , 2004, pp. 149 – 150). They serve “women, men, teens, and families” by ensuring “good health, safety, prevention of unwanted pregnancies, and help these people in carrying out informed and responsible choices” (Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc. , 2008, n. p. ).
Interestingly, even if they do not have funds of their own, they are still able to push through with their objectives because the accept donations (Chambers et. al. , 2004, pp. 149 – 150). They were then able to conquer the usual problem of “client-centered management and inverted hierarchy” service-delivery system (Chambers et. al. , 2004, pp. 149 – 150). In addition to that, another typical problem of this kind of delivery system is that the staff is financially rewarded however not as much as expected or we want it to be, which sometimes lead to absence at work/dissatisfied workers (Chambers et. al. , 2004, pp. 149 – 150).
Employees at “Planned Parenthood” are not dissatisfied because of the large number of helpers; in fact they have volunteers too (Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc. , 2008, n. p. ). Meanwhile, the way goods are delivered at “Planned Parenthood” is actually excellent, and thus, agreeable; I admire how they serve their “clients and beneficiaries” in a manner that’s culturally diverse (Chambers et. al. , 2004, p. 161 – 169).
This is proven by the fact that they employ individuals “regardless of gender, race, age, sexuality, or disability” (Chambers et. al. , 2004, p. 161 – 169). In addition to that, it shows that they are willing to be held accountable for issues that they professionally know about; this is clearly evident in the way they stated who they are, their mission/objective/etc, how they may be reached, and who their resource persons are (Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc. , 2008, n. p. ).
Last but not least is that their delivery is “integrated and continuous” (Chambers et. al. , 2004, p. 161 – 169). I would not do it differently because this kind of delivery has been working properly and has been of great help to countless people.
