Iam writing to inform you about technological advancements here in theUS. Your words of wisdom and insights into the importance ofacquiring my university outside China have broadened my knowledgeabout the use of technology.
Advancementsin technology have resulted in significant changes in the manner inwhich people socialize. People from different geographical locationscommunicate more effectively. For example, instead of communicatingthrough letters, people use emails because they reach their intendedaudiences immediately. Also, businesspeople hold online meetingsthrough conference calls to save time and money.
However,I also realized that numerous demerits have accompanied all theseadvancements. For example, telegrams and letters have been replacedby text messages and emails. People do not take their time to expressthemselves like they did in the past. Also, the emergence of popularonline platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram have madepeople less social since they communicate only with each otherthrough their computers as opposed to meeting and conversingphysically.
Nevertheless,advancements technologies have resulted in significant changes to theinteraction between people. People do not have to spend a lot of timewriting letters or organizing seminars they can now email each otheror make conference calls hence, save time and resources. On theflipside, however, physical interaction has been interrupted aspeople now prefer online or virtual communication.
